Sadly, his computer died again. Our Unix ministrations were for naught, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait for him to pony up another $50 to AppleCare.

Oops, sorry...tongue firmly in cheeks. I didn't mean to lead you on, but the jockstrap convention's at his house. And I made it up. Sorta. But I'll be sure to tell him about Pookie's birthday.
