such a stellar monument to loneliness

i just wrote the longest entry and it got deleted. i hate it when that happens! RAR!!!!!!!!!

i have kind of been slacking off on updating this. i keep saying to myself 'nahh, i'll just update tomorrow'. i'll try hard to break that habit.

tuesday night lauren came over and we watched american pie one and two. she had never seen those before, which is seriously is not cool. it was a lot of fun.

wednesday, adam and i started to put this wall paper border around our kitchen. we did two rolls out of eight, and each roll takes a good hour of work. i feel really sorry for whoever does that for a living because i hate it. it's so hard trying to get it to go on straight without any bubbles or creases in it. after that was done, i went with my mom and adam to marble slab(uhhh YUM!), the dps to finally get adam a new copy of his permit since he lost his first one a couple months ago, and to band together(which is now known as humble music center) to drop of anthony's amp to get it fixed. i played a vintage 1971 gibson les paul custom, which they wanted $2500 for, but i don't think it was worth near as much. it took some convincing to get them to let me play it but they gave in. it did sound mighty good, but i wouldn't ever buy it for that price, even if i had the money. that night, adam and i went with emily to see harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban. i had already seen it before so i wasn't paying that much attention. it had been a long time since i had seen emily so that was cool that we got to do something. emily's one of those all-around kick ass people. she's going to go with lauren and i to the dashboard/thrice/get up kids concert. i am extreeeemely excited, it is going to be a TON of fun. later that night, alexandra and i had our first real good conversation in who knows how long. it was really great getting to talk to her again, since it seems like me and her haven't talk in forever. it seems like since it's summer, everyone's just basically drifting away from everybody.

thursday adam and i woke up and early and put three more rolls of wall paper on the border. again, i hate it so much, but my mom's paying us for it. only two or three more rolls left! after that, i went over to mow lauren's yard since the person who usually does it never showed up. when i got there, lauren came over from her neighbor's house, who's baby she is baby-sitting, to say hi. that was awfully nice of her. it was extremely hot outside. halfway through weed-eating the back yard, the weed-eater died on my. this little tube that connected the gas tank to the engine came off, so i tried to put it back on. well instead of going back on, it broke off completely and into three separate pieces. luckily her dad didn't care at all about it. that night, lauren and i went over to jaston's house with him and morgan. i picked lauren up from her house and my mom let her ride shotgun with me while i was driving, which was cool hahaha. over there, we watched american pie two. yes i know, again. it was still fun. lauren had to leave kind of early which sucked. i spent the night over there. jaston and i spent the night talking about lots of things, playing with his sister's baby kitten, and eating left over food from papasito's.

today i awoke at 11 o'clock to my cell phone ringing. it was the lady from humble music center. she said it would cost about $191 to get anthony's amp fixed. my jaw dropped, in a half-awake kind of way. after that, i went back to bed, but was awoken again by my cell phone ringing at 12:30. this time it was lauren(insert random big smiley face here). we talked for a good bit until the baby she was babysitting woke up. i got on jaston's computer until he woke up, then me and him talked for a little while and went downstairs to look for some food, but my mom was there. so i left with my mom and we went to starbucks since i have been craving that for a good few days, then we went to burger to get a quick bite to eat. when we got home, ashley had just gotten back from orientation at UT. i talked to her for a little bit until she had to go to work. a little while later, a guy from the car dealership came and picked my mom and i up to go get back my dad's jeep that was being worked on. the guy driving would not stop talking. he just kept going ooooon and ooooon about random things from japanese pop music to horse raddish. once we got my dad's jeep back, my mom took me to humble music center to drop off a down payment of $100 bucks to pay for the bunch of parts the amp repair guy needs to fix anthony's amp. anthony better appreciate me doing this for him because i'm going a lot out of my way to fix something that isn't even mine :-) after doing that, we went to office depot to get new ink cartridges for our printer(exciting!), then to a tire place to get my dad's tires rotated.

so here i am. lauren and i aren't going to get to do anything tonight, which means i'm probably going to end up just staying home. maybe i'll finally change the strings on my currently 3-string bass and 5-string sg. it's doubtful, though.

things i can't get enough of right now:
1) lauren(duhhh)=)
2) dashboard(i hope i'm not turning totally emo)
3) starbucks' white mocha frappachinos(uhhh YUM!)
4) donuts
5) marble slab ice cream
6) laying in the hammock

so don't be a liar
don't say that everything's working when everything's broken
and you smile like a saint but you curse like a sailor
and you might say the jokes on me
