(no subject)
I got back onto Global Pokedex Plus just in time to grab some awesomes from the recent account purge. The purge was for a really stupid reason: it got rid of everyone who hadn't done a quiz about the forum rules. Note that this quiz was already required if you wanted to use your account on the forums. But I got this Porygon 
out of it, so I'm not complaining much. Here's my current party:
My sister's been telling me to watch Firefly for a while, and I've recently been getting around to it. I'm up to Jaynestown, and I like it so far. The characters are intruiging, and I like the way they talk. I don't think it's worth all the hype, but I don't think Haruhi Suzumiya is worth all the hype either, and I love that. Sometimes the hype goes where no creative work can follow. Speaking of the way they talk, I'm trying to roleplay Sam from Sam & Max, and I can't get Mal out of my head. "There any goons gonna come after ya?" Goons is pretty Sam & Max, but the rest... So I've been looking for Sam & Max gameplay videos on YouTube. All I have to say about that is, I really wanted to watch the first ten minutes of Culture Shock over and over and over. Thanks, YouTube!
Anyway, just until I finish my turn, Mal needs to get out of my head because nobody likes his style. Except Inara. I'm not an expert on TV UST, but it's blindingly obvious that she wants a giant slice of his style.
