sneezing
I have spent most of the morning sneezing. It's awful. I also have only drank chai (no coffee) AND had breakfast at home. We had waffles!
I had a great time at the hockey game, once I got used to being in the rafters. I knew I wouldn't fall, but it is like looking over a cliff and if you stare straight ahead, (aside from the girders) it's just open space. Lots of it. The caps won 10-2 over the bruins. I finally stood and applauded for the last goal (by then I had lost the vertigo). Drew and Chris totally kept me informed on all the ritual and rules. Hat tricks? WTF are those?
The best part was being back home in the quiet. Once I got into bed, the breeze kicked up and kept skirting into the room. NOTHING is better than the sound of wind thru leaves and feeling fresh air that smelled like wet earth while reading, curled up in bed.
I am a little out of sorts because no one has really talked to me all day and I am spacing out. I find it is easier for me to get more done when I am engaged with other people.
It's so warm out. Maybe I should go for a walk.
