Well, I am here in California. Drew is in a meeting this morning, so I've been paying my bills and talking to financial aid people on the phone. They missed processing my aid again, but it's all there according to the lady on the phone. That is, I have it. They just haven't applied it to my account yet. Working with my mother is okay, but can also be a ginormous headache. I missed Drew terribly today, and my sister is 26 today. It's her golden birthday so she is 26. I opened a wachovia account today to use in Japan. I feel ill and need to calm down.

Goodness, I really need a house plant or something. Ever since my Drew left, I keep getting lousy songs stuck in my head. well, not exactly lousy, but things like Without You(RENT), Lonely (Bobby vinton), and Somewhere Out There (James Ingram and Linda Rondstat version). Blech. If I'm ever a mom I'm gonna apparently be a mess when my kids go to

I added lemon zest to my coffee grounds today before brewing. The result was surpriseingly pleasant.

So I went out to the head of Drew's current lab's house for the day. They have a HUGE backyard, and it has flowers and herbs and tomatoes. So they don't call it the backyard, it's "the garden". I am home with my Drew. :) He is wonderful. We are starting on using a different transcription program at work and it is all crazy. In other news, I am now the proud owner of a pearl pink gameboy SP with an extra bright screen. :-D *squeeee!*

Went to the waterfront for a bit tonight. My Drew got me a prettyful belt to wear. I really like it. :-D I have to get some new pants this week too. I think I may go to Avalon for that as I am lazy and cheap. Icca, do you have time for coffee or somesuch this week sometime? I don't know if you are busy or not.
