Oh, the relief. I finally got a new job. I have been trying to secure an academic administrative position in Philadelphia since the moment I decided to move here - just over two years ago. My last day here at the nasty refinery (well - I'm not actually AT the refinery anymore, they moved us off-site a month ago) will be Friday, July 11. I'll start at the Community College of Philadelphia on Tuesday, July 15 (I'm not sure why it's a Tuesday - but I won't squawk about a Monday off). I have such a sense of relief. I have been virtually consumed with getting out of here since the day I accepted this job (out of necessity, I might add).

So, in honor of, well, myself: Yay! Woohoo! Hot-damn-diggety!
