here and now
Back from 12 days in Massachusetts... quick visit to friends followed by seership class, followed by a longer visit with folks and trying to be useful and having lots of solitude, followed by Twilight Covening, followed by another quick visit, this time with eafm and thudthwacker.
I don't have much of a rhythm at home right now, and feel like I haven't for over a year. In the meantime, my kids are getting older. A lot older. They are watching a lot of television and playing a lot of video games, but they are still wonderful kids.
I made the tower functional today. Right now I have basically a working/writing office in the fore-tower, and a meditation room in the aft.
I desire a writing assignment. A paid writing gig. Doesn't need to be a lot of money, just something. I desire that shift.
However, my kids still need me. Lots and lots and lots. Unless I'm going to send them to public school, I need to keep homeschool responsibilities right at the top of my focus list.
Speaking of... I need to go make the week's plan. And shower. Tomorrow we are daytripping to NJ, leaving at 6:20 a.m., planning to be back around 2:00 a.m.
