...Smile's like the sun; it's so bright, it's weakening...

Okay, so there are a few things to update on based on my weekly experiences:

Sylvia and I went to this show together as we always go to Greenday shows together. Last we saw them, they were absolutely amazing, so we were expecting that again. We got there, saw Sugarcult, walked around some, saw some people including Georgette and Nick, and then we sat down to watch New Found Glory's set. They weren't that bad, but I've personally seen them do a lot better. They had this new banner up, and I flipped out because they had the rose on it that I've been trying to get tattooed forever, yet I can't describe it to anyone because I suck at life. So, maybe, in the near future, I will have a sweet tattoo. Anyways, there were some pretty drunk people in our area. Some even tried jumping the barracades to the general admission area. Some big black dude totally tackled some guy and it was great. I laughed and it was awesome. Greenday definitely took my breath away. They were amazing (as always), but just wow. It was definitely the best live performance I have ever seen and everyone who went agrees with me. JUST WOW! So that's enough of that.

The way home was pretty intense. I almost got into a fight with the street meat vender at Union Station who stood in a plastic box. Luckily, he was in there, otherwise I would have throat punched him as he totally scammed me. Luckily, the hot dog was good. After that, Sylvia and I decided we wanted ice cream, so we got some of that too. 20 minutes later, we hop on the train, sit beside two random dudes and just waited to get home. We got to Mimico and the train remained stopped for like, 15 minutes. Some guy comes running up the stairs and said that he "felt he needed to share the story with others who have boarded the train". He was hilarious. He then told us there was a fight. These drunk dudes sitting on the lower level of the train were randomly giving each other wedgies, which escaladed to one of the drunk guys (who also had one tooth) to spray and intense amount of Axe cologne, then the other drunk dude lit a cigarette, which was obviously flammable as Axe was sprayed everywhere, then bystanders started bitching because they all thought they were going to burn and die, so the dude kept lighting up and throwing cigarettes on the train, a girl bitched, he bit her, people got pissed, and then a fight broke out. They went from inside of the train, to outside of the train, and then the train was delayed as we had to wait for cops to come and stuff. It was a good laugh, so I didn't mind at all. So, apparently, my day brought so much rock.

I was looking forward to this show for sooo long, and it was definitely worth it. Aside from all that missions pulled that day, it was so effing fun. Kevin came and picked me up then brought me to school. It took like, two hours to do that because of traffic since the weather was shitty, so road rage was present. I got to my lab late, which sucked, but I finished earlier than I thought because I am a genious, so the lab only took me like 20 minutes. After that, I met back up with Kevin on campus and we went on our way downtown. Of course, we got lost - sort of, kind of - so we got there a little later than expected. Bought our tickets at the door, found out Hot Cross wasn't going to show, but whatever. I am not a big fan anyways. Saw some awesome people: Laura, Kyle, Joey, Margaret, and Christian and also saw some not-so-awesome people. Those will remain nameless. The venue was empty, which was good considering rockit is brutal when it is packed with people. The first band was horrible, SoT was so good. Kevin and I concluded that black people cannot "throw down". It was definitely a sight to see. Fear Before came on, wowowow *swoon*. They played majority of Art Damage and played an extra song near the end. They were awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Especially when he told the drums to get out of his scene, hahaha oh how I laughed! AND THE KISSES/FAMILIAR FACES, LAURA! hahahah Such losers, we are. Anyways, after the set, Laura and I said bye to some people then went upstairs and bought a poster for Maria who couldn't be there because she was sick and in the hospital. :( I missed her tremendously and hope to see her soon. David then signed another poster for Laura with a *heart*, we swooned, and then said "SEE YOU ON MYSPACE" in sync. It was so lame, yet so amusing and amazing. Apparently, we said it pretty loud so we got some peoples attention who were also on myspace. This dude turns around and starts telling me about how many friends he had on his list and such. He was such a good looking kid. I think I may have stared a little. But that is besides the point. Laura, Kevin, and I went outside and met this crazy drunk dude who had a tattoo stating "fights for his beaver". Kevin thought it was amazing so asked about the story behind it, hahaha. Shortly after, he randomly lays down in the middle of the road, spread eagle, and it was crazy. I hope to meet more drunk men and native drunk women again soon. Very fun times.

I was disappointed. Not a good show at all. Boys night out lacked energy and I really did not enjoy the opening bands. I met one of Rj's sweet friends, Jackie. She was rad. Laura, Jeff, and Joey were also there, which made the show somewhat enjoyable. HIGH FIVE! I saw a girl randomly reach into her bag and start eating pudding. She was also wearing some fucked up dress thing. There was an interesting crowd there, that is for sure. I am so glad that the abundance of shows has settled down... somewhat. Because I was getting annoyed.

This is a long post, but I will continue. I may go to Throwdown this Friday. Maybe. I'd like to. But we will see. Sunday is TBS and I am so stoked. I am going to wear my dancing shoes, so watch out! If anyone knows anyone selling an extra ticket to this show, let me know as a dear friend of mine would like to come with. Kthnx.

I hate writing posts about stuff like this. They bore me and suck at life.
