Welcome to Dread February
As promised, I posted my Xmas/Winter photos on Flickr before January was over (the evening on the 31st totally counts!) including my holidays at home, a day in DC with plaidavenger, and rspeed playing with Midori (or perhaps it's the other way around). No NYE photos since I didn't take any of them and they all turned out pretty terrible.

December and February are always my least favorite months and this past December sure lived up to my usual standards (got dumped, mediocre Christmas, poor, emotional roller coaster on New Year's). I'm hoping that February may not suck sweaty goat balls this year but we'll just have to see. At least I'm making rent which is something I thought I wouldn't be doing this month.
It's been a pretty good weekend so far although this whole "work is giving me no hours" thing is sort of crappy. Do I REALLY need to hunt for ANOTHER job so soon? I'm really tired of feeling unemployable in my chosen field. Fingers crossed.
Why isn't there mail on Sundays? I disapprove whole-heartedly. I have things that need to GO. I also disapprove of all the organizing in the living room and my room (oh, and laundry) that I have to do. But I need to get rid of some non-necessities since I just don't have the storage.
I'm not sure I'm going to be leaving the house except to run to the bank and pay rent. I'm not feeling sick, per se, just sort of worn down. I love going out and having fun and I'm spending time with someone who helps me think about something other than stress and money and school for a while - but I think I need some me and Midori time right now.
