A meme Simon tagged me for. I wasn't going to do it, but why the fuck not? Might as well. Whatever.

5- Crossing Parallels [Fandom: The Beatles/Green Day]
The entire universe, really. This was my brain child and my baby for over a year, and I am still very proud of it in my way. Which just means that I am not utterly ashamed of it. The main story is Fact: Marijuana Induces Time Travel and White Valentines. Everything else was just playing around in this universe where time travel happens when necessary. It's an idea I have considered toying with in original fiction or other fanfic as well. There was supposed to be a third part to the main story, probably titled And In the End.... There might still be. We'll see.
4- Transcendental: A Teenaged Fantasy [Original Fiction]
This was the first original idea I ever had that I thought I might actually be able to make into something of length. I never suceeded (though I did very nearly complete the short play version) and now this one chapter is all that remains, except for the characters living on in my head. Though, having just re-read this chapter, it made this list quite suddenly, and maybe one day I'll go back to it, re-write and finish it. I know the ending, the entire story is in my head. It just needs the right media (fun fact: I have contemplated Transcendental as a novel, a novella, a short play, a full length play, or a film).
3- March Into the Sea/ Parting of the Sensory [Fandom: My Chemical Romance]
Simon says March Into the Sea is the best thing I have ever written. I don't know so much about that, but I do know that I am proud of it, as well as Parting of the Sensory. They were both marginally inspired by the songs from a Modest Mouse album that I borrowed the title from, and a few months ago, upon listening to the album, I realized I could probably turn this situation into a novella. Because the end of Parting isn't the end of the story, really. I don't know if I ever will actually write any more of the story (Florida, Fire It Up and We've Got Everything are some of the songs that have fic-ideas attached) but there's always the possibility of actually writing the entirety of the We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank saga. '
2- Tiny Cities Made of Ashes [Fandom: My Chemical Romance]
This is an AU that I am so obscenely proud of. Unfortunately, I began writing it just before a fairly hard time for Simon and I, emotionally and financially and sundry other ways. So I lost the muse midway through. And then my old laptop crashed and took my plot outlines with it. So, if I want to go back to Tiny Cities I'm going to need a lot of Modest Mouse, and a lot of re-reading and writing time. But it's something I have been planning on at least finishing for a while yet. There's also a prequel about Ray and Frank in the works based on Boys of Summer (primarily the Ataris version) which means that I would also need to write a Bob/Gerard prequel. :P

This really is my favorite thing I have ever written. For one thing: IT'S COMPLETE (the only completely completed thing on this list. nice). For another, it was inspried by two of my favorite men in the world: James Patterson and Quinten Tarantino. I have a thing for the sleuthy detective investigatory genre. And I had way too much fun with this fic. I'd started a sequel, but it's tapered off since then. If I ever go back to this universe, it will probably not be Sing a Song of Sixpence that results. Though, I killed off most of My Chem and that's kind of sad. But anyway. I love IR,IP.
And furthermore, some questions about writing!
I'm going to avoid including RP and the associated characters here, because that makes it too easy.
What's the last thing you wrote?
About half of the first proper chapter of Back in the Saddle aka the Rodeo Fic. That was like two weeks ago. Way to go, muse.

It's alright, but obviously I'm having trouble finishg it.

I can't really answer this question. I've lost computers upon computers. I've moved too many times. I've lost so much stuff. I had a dream the other night that I found the file-folder that I kept Here and Gone in back in the day, all brighly colored and mod. I was sad when I woke up and it wasn't true. The oldest thing I probably have access too is the X-Men movie-verse fanfic archived on my old ff.net account.

I used too. It was so awful.

I did. Again, fucking awful.
Most fun character you ever wrote?
I had a lot of fun writing Frank in IR,IP. Also, any time I write Tre Cool is great fun.

Naomi from Transcendental was pretty obnoxious. She never did what I wanted her too, she was always changing her mind.

I stand by It's Raining, It's Pouring. Partly because it's the only solidified plot I've ever finished.

I can't. It goes away on it's own, flares up on it's own. I just wait for it to subside, and am there waiting with a word processor when it fades.

I type. My handwriting is awful and my hand is fairl weak after a long time. I only hand-write when I have no computer access (like when waiting for a concert, or in the woods).

I have before, and I will again if the top five list above is any indication.

Not really. My dreams are very disjointed and confusing and not usually fic-inspiring at all.
Do you prefer happy endings, sad endings, or cliff-hangers?
I like plot twists, and endings at the beginning. I'm a Tarantino fan.

Are you concerned with spelling and grammar as you write?
I tend to correct what Word points out as a write. But my grammar is.. unique.
Does music help you write?
YES YES YES a thousand times. I mean, look at my top-five. Two of them are based on Modest Mouse music. Most of my archive has titles stolen from songs I like. Music plays a very big part in the way I write.
Are people surprised and confused when they find out you write well?
