Saw Poison the Well last night.
The bands that played, save for one, were great.
But... my heart couldn't help but swell during one particular song.
Nerdy.
As stupid as it is and as much as I shouldn't hold that song any higher than any other song...
It still reminds me of you and what we had.
That autumn.
Those few months in autumn that stole whatever good that was left of me.
It's been almost a year now.
Doesn't feel like it.
And the more I'm coming to realize this, the more ashamed I've begun to feel.
