They still fought, of course, but it had been years since they had really fought seriously over anything. More recently, they had taken to ending their fights in a more congenial manner. Their last fight, they had been playing video games on something called an XBox that John had managed to alchemize. Jade had been winning, when the troll had cheated, causing the entire game to inexplicably crash. They yelled at each other, sitting only feet away on Jade’s bed, making wild gesturing motions.
