Christchurch meet Haven
So I'm finally here. Sitting in my flat watching Bones (with Amy Gumenick aka Young Mary!!!!) while some of my flatmates make something that smells revolting, rather loudly in the kitchen.
I now know High Street like the back of my hand, having walked up it about 10 times in the last 48 hours, I'm living literally right at the top of it, about a five minute walk from Cathedral Square. I've been out to the humongous Riccarton Mall and have fallen it love with the most amazing video store I have ever seen which is randomly and awesomely now my locale. They gave me a playing card as a membership card, a playing card. Heh.
There's really so much to say that there's nothing to say. Christchurch is just totally my kind of city, every second store is eyepoppingly fascinating.
I only just got online since Thursday and caught up with Psych, Leverage, Vamp Diaries and Supernatural. SPN surprised me, I wasn't expecting anything at all but that was actually a really nice, solid little episode. Leverage had Mark Sheppard popping up again right at the end which was pretty epic, Psych just seems to keep getting better and Vampire Diaries is flawless for what it is, a fantasy teen drama, addictive, unfortunately.
