Is it spring, yet? I can't take this shit no mo'. Having the temperatures bounce between 60 and 20 is enough to make a bitch crazy. Mother nature is a wonton tease. I've began getting my plant catalogues. Spring planting ideas occupy my mind. I'm even having the requisite pre-spring "Oh look my trees are budding out" dreams. Then I wake up and realize it's still February and I throw things.

Actually with that being said, I have to mention that this winter has been glorious. Early on I took a very strong stand again depressing winters and made a point to see to it that this would not be one. And I believe I was more or less successful. Granted I suffered a job loss, and therefore a subsequent financial shit storm...but I maintained a sickening, afterschool special-like positive mindset and while my head isn't quite above water I know it will be soon. So that's groovy, and shit.

Speaking of job loss...er, jobs in general I suppose...I quit Access Direct. Well, not so much quit as I don't go anymore. I work at Petland now. Something I find much more rewarding than tricking people on the phone into keeping shit they don't need...at a job that makes me want to hit people. It was bad new bears...and I was NOT happy. I'm liking the pet thing a lot already. Plus I work with Josh, which is rad. In addition to a fancy employee discount, my job basically involves selling people animals and educating people on them. Hopefully learning a shit ton myself along the way. I'm rather optimistic about it. Although I have to dress like the crocodile hunter...but shit, I make that look GOOD.

The other night Miss Maggie, Kinzy, Bryan and I had Crunk Party Volume One. Including, but not limited to, Piña Coladas and strawberry margaritas, toy machine BlingBling from Wal Mart, ridiculous hats, brightly colored CRUNK cups, Decemberists sing-alongs, dancing aplenty, accidental face kicking, and mild to intense intoxication. Keep your ears and eyes open for details on future installments of CRRRRRRUNK.
