Mexican Food with Jo Freeman, Ice Cream, Unscrewing and Some Electrocution

So tonight was good fun, except for the slight tingling from the electrocution, but that comes later.

I went out to Mexican food tonight with Jo Freeman which was loads of fun. Great Mexican food at Cafe Pacifico in Covent Garden. And then we wandered around till we ended up at Hagen Daas(which is apparently a gourmet dessert location). I had some amazing sorbet. I took a picture. I'll post tommorrow. She looks so much older than when I last saw her. She's hoping to CIT this summer.

Then I got back here at like 9pm. And I made cider for my flatmates. And then we tried to watch a DVD. And it was broken. And then we realised there was a DVD stuck. So I unscrewed like 13/14 screws and one was totally stripped, so then Liz and I tried to pry the thing off, and that pretty much worked. And then we were trying to figure out why it wasn't working and then I was resting my arms on it and I got slightly electrocuted. It only went up to like my elbow, but I'm fine. I couldn't stop laughing for like 5 minutes though. I still think it's kinda funny.

And we went to see a play last night called pool(no water). It was eh. There was no plot, lots of lights and amazing music. The plot was basically, these artists have a friend that becomes famous, and they kind of hate her for that. So she sends an email inviting the, to stay with her and enjoy her pool. So they go and have a good time, get drunk and decide to go skinny dipping one night. So she dives in first, and discovers(the hard way) there's no water. So she's comatose and the people are just staying at her house, and they decide to start taking pictures of her each day. They do it, but they feel horrible about it. Two months later she wakes up and someone blurts out about the pictures, and she wants to see them. She's okay with it. They feel guilty. They still hate her though. She wants to have them. They know she wants to make art of it(but it was their idea first, so they don't want her to). So after a computer infection, and a night of drug induced selecting and deleting on the digital camera as well as some photo burning of the originals, all the photos are gone. She wakes up to find them in the midst of it all and says they're small people. The End.

But the music was all Imogen Heap, so I enjoyed that much. And they used it really well.

That's all for now.
