- Each round, a sign up post will go up, simply reply to that post asking for a card. There are several different prompt lists to suit everyone’s needs. Please look over them and tell us from which lists you would like us to prompt you. We will then reply to you with a card of 25 prompts (a 5x5 table). Your goal is to take that card and fill the prompts to get bingo. You will receive points for every bingo you complete. There are many ways of earning bingo, please see this post for further details.
- In order to earn a bingo, you must fill the prompts. You may do so in any way you choose (fic, art, vid, etc.), though there are minimum requirements (listed below), so be sure to follow those. All works created to fill prompts must be new, you may not use previously posted works.
- You may fill prompts in any form of fanwork such as: fics, icons, gifs, meta, picspams, vids, drawings, etc. However, in order to keep things fair, there are minimum requirements for each type:
- Bookmarks: 6
- Drawing: 1 (digital or hand drawn)
- Fan Fiction: 500 words
- Fan Mix/Soundtrack: 1 fanmix (10 songs, front & back covers)
- Friends Only Banners: 6
- Gifs: 4
- Headers: 4
- Icons: 10
- Manip: 1 (500x500 pixels in size minimum)
- Meta: 1000 words
- Moodtheme: 10 moods
- Painting: 1 (digital or hand drawn)
- Picspams: 10 coloured screencaps
- Podfic: 500 word fic
- Poems: 10 lines
- Sigs: 6
- Stickers (GetGlue): 4
- Tumblr Graphics: 4
- Videos: 1 minute
- Wallpapers: 4
- Anything else you wish to make, ask me and we can work out a value ;)
You may, of course, go over the minimum; you just cannot go under it. Things such as poems and fanfictions do not need to be one solid work, it can be several smaller ones put together to fill one prompt. The minimum requirements do not mean you have to do all the things listed; it simply lists the amount of work required for specific forms of fanwork.
- The minimum requirements listed above are per prompt. That being said, you may only do 1 type of work per fill, but you do not have to stick to one type for the entire card. Example: you could complete a line bingo by doing 1 fanmix, 2, fics, 1 video, and 1 drawing. Any combination goes :)
- All works created must be related to Once Upon a Time, crossovers are permitted as long as Once plays a significant part in your work. You are free to use photos/videos of the actors out of character in order to portray the characters in your work, however, RPF is not allowed.
- You must complete at least one bingo before requesting a new card. However, if one or more of the prompts on your card trigger you in any way, please contact a mod so we can fix it :)
- You may complete as many bingos as you would like to, and you will receive points for every bingo you complete. The 10 people with the most points will get special banners at the end of the round and every participant will get a banner for playing (you must have completed at least 1 bingo to receive a participation banner)
- After completing a bingo you may ask for a second card to work on another bingo, or simply continue working with the same card. You may, of course use the same prompts for more than one bingo, but you will have to create something new each time you do.
- Please make sure you’ve looked through the prompts in all the prompt categories before asking for a card and tell us which categories you would like us to prompt you from. If there are any that trigger you/disturb you to no end feel free to note that when asking for a card. We have provided multiple prompt categories simply to better suit your needs, your work does not have to reflect the category of which the prompt is from, it is completely up to interpretation.
- Please ensure you provide warnings when submitting/posting! Even if it is in the prompt itself, you must warn for rape/non-con, dub-con, character death, suicide, incest, child/domestic abuse, graphic self-harm, sexual trauma, or anything else that may be triggering to others. This rule is quite simply for the well-being of all who may stumble upon your work. Alternatively, please do not warn for slash, het, or femslash, if you do we will ask that you remove it. If you believe that warning for certain aspects of your work may be more spoilery than you would like, feel free to use a spoiler cut so that the readers/viewers may decide for themselves whether or not they would like to read it.
- Always, always provide ratings and warnings for your work.
- Each fill must be a new and separate creation. Chapters or parts of one story cannot be used to fill several different squares. Several stories/works within a series (sequels and prequels), however, are acceptable as long as each one has a clear beginning and end. This rule excludes Combo Lines and Combo Blackouts, for information on these, please see points and scoring.
- Fills may be posted anywhere you see fit, so long as it is public and you can link us to it. They are not, however, to be posted to this community until you reach a bingo.
- To receive points for a completed bingo you must post a summary of all the fills for a bingo to this community. Your summary post must include links to all the fills included in your bingo. These links must all go to public posts (no locked/private entries/sites). If we discover a link goes to a locked entry, bingo will not be awarded. For more information, please see the posting template.
- We will host 3 rounds a year. Each round will be 3 months long with a 1 month amnesty period in between.
- Prompts may be interpreted in any way you see fit
- i.e.: “Regina/Emma - Wedding” could mean they are; getting married, both attending a wedding, dreaming of the “perfect wedding”, etc.
- i.e.: “Tiny Dancer” could mean a child dancing, a literal tiny dancer (Thumbelina?) in fairytale world, singing/dancing to the song “Tiny Dancer”, etc.
- Just because characters have a slash between them for the prompts does not mean they are a romantic pairing, it’s just the cleanest way to say that they are the main focus of the work you do for it.
- i.e.: Regina/Emma could mean friends, lovers, enemies, etc.
- i.e.: Regina/Henry are obviously not lovers.
- Your work should have more than a singular mention of the prompt. It must deal with it in some way. Example: if your prompt is “Greatest Fear”, it should be visible throughout the work, not simply as a passing mention. The way in which you deal with and interpret the prompt, however, is entirely up to you.
