Man, what a difference a day makes.
Hmmm. That's good. I should write that one down. :P
I felt like complete crap yesterday...hurt all over, tired, weepy, ect. Then about 8pm I took the magic pill (Excedrin) and about an hour later I perked up and felt OHHH so better. Of course the fact that I could finally post on MOZ again might have had a teeny little bit of something to do with it....
Then today I woke up, and noticed at once that whatever was prodding me yesterday had receded into the background and I felt pretty great! Again, getting some stuff out of the way yesterday was likely the reason...technical stuff on the puter that actually worked for me and caused me a bit of joy today. *sighs happily*
Anyhoo, today I finished up putering for the morning, which always extends to about 2pm in the afternoon, and went over to see how the parents are doing in their pre-move frenzy. They plan to move into the new house one week from tomorow, and I will be taking down the computer and trying to keep it from getting squished, bumped, or dropped along the way. Then I get to put it back up after the monster desk is put together so that I can.
That is the biggest damned desk I have ever seen.
*shudders*
I swear that today, while I was standing there talking to mom, that thing was...menacing me.
So I'm prepared to take at least one of my days off this coming week to help them start moving. The actual move takes place on Saturday, weather permitting, while I am at work.
I'm supposed to inherit the microwave, since they have a built in there, and it's none too soon, since the one I have has a rusted out ceiling and may explode at any second. Also the roll around oil heater, if they decide they don't need it.
I love those things...I heat this house with 4 of them in the winter time. No hot air blowing on you and making your hair friz worse than it has to already. And they don't seem to run the electric up any higher than the stupid wall heaters (that blow, both literally and figuratively) and which are worn out, all but about 2. Of course, the wall heaters are nearly 30 years old, just like those two creaking floor boards.
Well, I have some fan videos to peruse, and some reading to do, and maybe even some TV if I can work it in. And those of you who read this and know me, know that my mind went to a dirty place just then. Oh I know it was a stretch, but....*SNORT*....there I go again. That was even worse. Oh hell.
Now I know I feel better.
*Off to watch some Jamesy stuff*
