connections : actors and roles
I'm really bad about taking time to realize where I've seen an actor before. Sometimes it happens as I'm listening to an actor's voice and it reminds me of another character, and then maybe I have to try hard to remember which one. Sometimes it's as simple as a facial expression.
Recently on Bridal Mask it was a twisted smile from Shunji. Then it dawned on me: I've seen that actor be evil.
Last year there was a movie called War of the Arrows or Bow: The Ultimate Weapon (that last is kind of a silly title, but if a bow really could do all those things it would be a truly spiffy weapon indeed). In that movie, Park Ki-woong played one of the villains, who also had a rather creepyscary smile. I remembered that smile from a review on dramabeans.
Okay now that I realize it's him, I'm not going to be able to look at Shunji without thinking of that other character.
