Bridal Mask, episode 8

You know, I've seen a lot of unenthusiastic schoolchildren in TV and movies, but those children win the Most Unenthusiastic Ever award. The characters, not the actors... who did great.

On the other hand, every scene showing members of Kishokai enjoying themselves, I end up wanting to pretend I never saw them.

Didn't Mok Dan already figure out that Kye-soon is a snitch? I thought the smile at the hospital would have helped with that... but I guess Mok Dan might not have seen that. Still, it seems like there's been a lot of evidence that she's not to be trusted. "Hey, why is Kye-soon always running off?" Well...

Mok Dan showing up at the police station... awesome. "I'm here, so let them all go." She really has courage.

Is this going to be a Becoming the Mask story? I guess so. Kang To is trying to have two very different identities now... what can he become by pretending to be both the bad guy and a hero? If Shunji pretends to be his brother, and does it well, will he become Kenji?

In a previous episode, we had a horse that couldn't outrun or evade a motorcycle with sidecar. I kept thinking he would turn and ride into the forest where the motorcycle can't follow. But no. Now we have a horse that can catch up to a car. Based on this evidence, I think I've got a better idea of 1930s transportation. I think it goes something like this:

So if you need to be faster than someone in the 1930s, always choose the motorcycle.
