saturday ensues
This post is actually a distraction from organizing my Chinese notes for the week. It might be a bit weird.
My new bifocals are wrong. Not a wrong prescription (though how could I tell?), but wrong in every other way. I imagine the eye doctor chuckling to himself while scrawling "Give her bifocals so she'll suffer" on a tiny sheet of paper. Pale spectral elves busied themselves in feverish rooms, creating the perfect lens to show me a world ever shifting from blurry to clear. Also? I can't lie on my couch the way I like after work, because then I'm watching the TV through the closeup lens. Yeah I know, complain complain and I could always just move my TV to the coffee table like anyone else does, but still...........
After twenty episodes (and fifteen to go), I think I'll slow down a bit on Bu Bu Jing Xin for a few days. I think my moods will thank me.
I'm watching Hotelier because Bae Yong Joon, and I realized something while looking through a cast list. I had no idea that Mean Unpleasant Manager Guy was also Jumong's Nice Shaggy Father. What a difference a change in hair and personality makes.
I'm making a "personality traits" section in my adjectives file. 含蓄, 合群, 开朗, 严肃...
