BBJX 18 again
I was telling Tingting that one of the things I love about the Fourth Prince, and his relationship with Ruoxi, is their directness with each other.

"I could pretend, like other people, but I think you'd rather I just be honest with you."

At this point, at least, they feel like one of those couples who understand each other better than most people around them (though I could say the same about either one of them with Thirteen). And he rarely tries to press his own opinion on her. He's more "Here are your unpleasant choices. I won't tell you which one to choose, but here they are and you really need to choose your path soon."
Now I'm really, really looking forward to 19 and 20. Especially now that she's traced the word throne in his hand.
