Ballgame Over! American League Division Series Over! Yankees Win! Theeeeeeeee Yankees Win!! The Yankees beat the Minnesota Twins in Game 3 of the ALDS by a score of 6-1 to win the series last night. This game was all Yankees. Phil Hughes pitched brilliantly and Marcus Thames and NIck Swisher hit homeruns to seal the deal. They move on to the American League Championship Series, where they will face either the Tampa Bay Rays or the Texas Rangers. The Rays staved off elimination today with a 6-3 comeback win over the Rangers yesterday in Texas. The Rangers still lead the series 2 games to 1 with Game 4 to be played tomorrow in Texas. Both NLDS series play Game 3 tomorrow as well.
In football, Michigan got killed by Michigan St. at home yesterday by a score of 34-17. The defensed was awful again and quarterback Denard Robinson threw 3 interceptions, two of which were in the red zone. Denard is an incredible athlete when he runs, but yesterday's game showed that he still has a lot to learn when it comes to passing. Michigan's record is now 5-1.
