"All I Saw Was You". Kyle smiles, checking his phone again but there’s nothing new.
“What?” Levi asks.
“Nothing. No texts… it’s just… I admit it, when I first met you, I think I had the wrong idea about you.”
“What wrong idea?” Levi raises his eyebrows. He’s curious but not surprised at the same time. It’s totally normal for people to assume things about him based on social media and that’s why he can’t really blame anybody for whatever they think of him.
Kyle snorts, shaking his head. “You think I’m gonna tell you? No way. I’m not saying another word.”
“Come on. Do you think you’re gonna say something I haven’t heard before?” Levi says waving his arms. He doubts Levi could surprise him but he’s still curious about it.
Kyle licks his lips as he considers how to answer that if he actually answers.
“Okay, fine,” Kyle finally answers. “The truth is you don’t know anything about me. I mean, maybe you read my very short curriculum and you saw me play the guitar and maybe you’re attracted to me for whatever reason… I don’t know… but I’m nobody-”
“Nobody?” Levi frowns… not really understanding what this has to do with his question.
“Yeah, I’m nobody. Whatever you read about me… that’s just… I don’t know.” Kyle shrugs, “I guess they tell you what I can do-What I think I’m good at. But that’s not who I am. It’s hard to explain but I’m telling you this because I wanna be honest with you. I’ve been through a lot of shit in my life and I know I carry a lot of baggage with me. I’ve never been in a serious relationship and I feel like you wanna date someone who might be looking for that. So, maybe this is a bad idea because I do like working with you. And I like you. But we are too different. And being here with you, outside of the set, just made me see that more clearly. So, I think we’d be making a mistake if we actually dated.”
