[ He's just staring at the 'gear for a moment, too confused to be shocked just yet. That is a very familiar voice and he both hopes and doesn't hope that it is who it sounds like. ]

[ But no, it is exactly who is sounds like. He'd recognize that hair anywhere, not to mention Estelle's one of the few people in the castle who's always said his name without scorn and the memory of that intonation is not easily forgotten. ]
