today i watched Pride and Prejudice with mah mutha, and guess what?

i liked it. oh yeah.

as a devout fan of the BBC production, i was all :\ about it, particularly Knightley, because... well there's nothing really wrong with her but Jennifer Ehle, man. come on.

pride and prejudice is annoying. jane austen is annoying. in the way that she frustrates the hell out of me but makes me happy by the end of her goddamn books. mostly because i've finished reading them, but also because they're pretty good. most of the time.

oh, dude. i didn't think i could either. but hey, it was shitty day and i thought, 'this movie here, this i could drag my mother to see', and i did, and it was kinda fun. TAKE A RISK, MAN. :)

i caught some footage of Narnia on the Great Outdoors yesterday and spent the entire time going 'omf it's the WARDROBE! eee narnia! aslan! omg mountain wow. :O white witch! LUCY IS PROPERLY WEENY AND ISN'T ANNOYING YAY!'

i heart narnia with all of my everything, yet bbc lucy drove me insane.

omg it's so exciting! TILDA!!! they couldn't have got it any more spot-on.

shit, how the BBC one owned me when i was a kid. i saw the dvds one day and just froze in shock. i couldn't believe i had ever forgotten that show and i was like :O must. have. but it was $80. :(((

but AMEN, Lucy was a shit. i hated her. god, remembering that show is like trying to remember a really surreal dream, it's scary. honestly, i get all weird about it. i'll shut up now. :\

BBC!Lucy was just so whiny and the buck-toothed dopey expression she always had just BUGGED me. movie!Lucy looks so cute! :D

i remember reading the books in primary school and absolutely adoring the entire BBC series and prolly having a wee crush on peter and them waiting at the trainstation and spinning off to narnia in budget special effects and then i was all heart broken when aslan was tied up on the stone table and had his mane cut off and... oh. i really want to see this movie. like, right now.

i think i should shut up too. :X
