The well-known paranormal identification and elimination organization known as the GHOSTBUSTERS, located in Brooklyn, New York, New York, is seeking talented and qualified individuals for its first daughter group, to be located in Memphis, Tennessee, but responding to the needs of haunted, possessed, or supernaturally distressed individuals across the South, the West, and the Midwest. We are seeking men and women in good health, capable of travel and associating with levels of society both high and low, with strong educations and of high intelligence. In particular, we seek:
  • At least one person personally knowledgeable about the supernatural, through witnessed personal experience, either as a medium or through other means verifiable by those with appropriate connections.
  • At least one person with an academic and/or scientific background, studied in the use and construction of electrical and magnetic devices both large and small. Familiarity with the theories of Nikola Tesla is appreciated.
  • At least one person with experience in the United States military or militia, capable of handling large and heavy weaponry. The ability to drive military-style vehicles with either equine or electromechanical propulsion will be considered a bonus.
  • At least one person with detailed knowledge of the human psyche and the disorders thereof, of sufficient acuity to be able to distinguish hallucinations or other disorders of the brain from genuine paranormal phenomena. Would appreciate other medical expertise, but this is not required.
  • We would prefer to have at least one member of the team able to speak French or Spanish or both.

  • Interested applicants should reply via mail to Dr. Peter Venkman at the following address . . .

Yes, that means it's time for character creation! And yes, the boys are trying to recreate their own team, although they're not married to the idea of only four members, especially since Janine is a more fundamental member of the team in this version. Those interested in playing, reply with a brief character concept to this post, and we'll work on scheduling an actual character-creation session where I beat GURPS over the head with a book until it does what you want it to.
