Suzu didn’t cry so much anymore. There were times that she found herself sad, remembering those she lost - especially when thinking about Seishu - but there were wonderful times as well, new times.
Like now.
There was a tap on her head, and she looked up from her tea, blinking. Sekki stood over her table, smiling. “Staring off into space? Doesn’t look so good for a minister of Kei.”
She blushed. “I’m still not used to it, yet,” she admitted.
Sekki sat down across from her, a small smile on his face. “But you already seem at home.”
That pleased her.
