Drama News Round Up - What is Happening With Drama Episodes?
If you've visited your favorite streaming or downloading site in the last few days, you might have seen the confusing new drama episode numbering system. Broadcasters are now splitting episodes into two 30-35 minute halves with a lengthy commercial break in between them. New MBC and SBS dramas Ruler: Master of the Mask and Suspicious Partner are the first to be affected by this. It appears that the subbing sites/MyDramaList/AsianWiki etc are treating them as two separate mini episodes, so technically we'll now be getting 4 episodes a week.

[The Best Hit kicking off new F/S drama slot]
KBS has announced a change in their schedule. The broadcasting company stated, “KBS 2TV aims to provide a youthful channel for viewers in the ages between 20 and 40, and we will be introducing new programs and schedules in June.”
KBS will be creating a new Friday-Saturday drama slot for its younger viewers. The first project that will take this slot is The Best Hit , which will be helmed by producing directors (PD) Seo Soo Min and Yoo Ho Jin. The drama will be Cha Tae Hyun’s debut project as a PD, and will begin airing on June 2 at 11 p.m. KST. “Greatest One-Shot” is a story about youths in their twenties as they navigate through the highs and lows of life.
