Flashback Friday
Happy Friday everyone! Every Friday I look through the charts for this day in a past year and post the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. Let’s see what we were listening to in the 2nd week of May, 2010. Some really great songs this week!
#3 Secret “Magic”
I’m pretty sure this was Secret’s first big hit? I had really liked their debut song, but this is the one I remember blowing up big. I always get this mixed up with “Madonna” lol.
#2 Rain “Love Song”
And 7 years later I still can’t get through this whole video without blushing/hiding behind my hands/checking my office door to make sure it’s closed just in case someone walks in. I’m just gonna sit here and replay that last minute over again and clean the computer screen with my tongue. PS the song’s really nice too lol.
#1 Lee Hyori “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”
Every time I see the title, I ALWAYS think of this first lol. Anyways, back to Hyori! I remember not fully being on board with this song (I still only really love the chorus), but that didn’t stop me from learning that full choreography! She looked good this comeback, and this song was pretty popular. The rest of the album though…OMG remember that big mess?!?

#4 After School “Bang!”
Finally, my love of drumlines and catwalks come together in one video! Such a great era for After School! The song is fun, the choreography is fun, and there’s so much pretty in the video. This song also marked Lizzy’s debut with the group. Obligatory #JusticeForAfterSchool
#6 2pm “Without You”
I don’t remember any of this at all, not the song nor the video. Which is weird because you would think I would remember boys in wet t-shirts that show off bare, muscular arms and tight chests. It’s like I don’t even recognize myself.
