I know this is pretty much a dead community, but I need some exercising/dieting tips.So I'm pretty upset about my weight (like I wasn't before or anything lol), but the circumstances are a little bit different. So probably like 3-4 months ago, I got my first doctor's visit in a long time for some shots, but they also tested my blood. They said I ( Read more... )

download myfitnesspal on your phone, it helps with counting calories, scan things you eat to see what they have in it(eat the amount it tells you, dont go lower than what it says, it can really fuck you up). avoid fast food, subway also, its a better option but not an overall healthy one. try and stick to unprocessed foods although its ok to eat them, depending on what they are (spaghetti, etc) DONT STARVE yourself as well, it will have the opposite effect, this one time i was sooooooo bogged in homework i had one bite of pie for the entire day, staved the rest of the day because i was swamped in work, got home and ate kfc coz i was too tired to make dinner and BAM next day i weighed myself and i gained 2 kgs.

jumprope like the cray one that boxers do is intense and you would burn heaps of calories but it'll take a while to get to that level, i would recommend doing 30minutes of like 45 seconds jumping, 15 seconds rest sorta thing.

for lunch, i usually have brown rice(its better than white rice), broccoli, potato, carrot(seasoned or unseasoned with salt/pepper if i can be bothered) with a choice of meat, usually grilled chicken breast without the skin but you can have any meat just make sure to cut off the fatty bits

DRINK ONLY WATER it'll be hard at first, you'll probably unconsciously grab dat coke can but do it for 2 weeks and it'll start being a habit, i take a 1.5litre bottle with me everywhere...everywhere.

ummm as for exercises you can do cardio if you just want to lose weight although lifting weights is a lot better imo (might as well get that booty while losing dat weight, you know what im saying :P) visit some fitness sites too they know more than me :p

MOST IMPORTANTLY calories in calories out, 80% of weight lost is from dieting, 20% in the gym.

hoped that helped if you have anymore questions i'll answer them as best i can :)

it can seem like HUUUUUGE step to lose weight but try not to picture it as one big thing and imagine it in steps
