Post-Grooming

Tonight I bathed Faith and used my brand-new Dubl Duck shears for the first time.  I really have no clue how to use them.  I think her head looks good, better than usual at least...but I also don't really trust my opinion.

I had some delicious turkey treats that krecik  sent to Faith for Christmas, so she was more into the camera thing than usual and kept trying to be cute in order to get turkey.  Here she is mid-wave.

Here she demonstrates her "settle" command.  I think this picture is funny because you can see from her right front leg hovering off the floor that she is tense and ready to jump up at any moment should the turkey become available.  Also you can barely see her staring at me and using her mind powers.

This was me still trying and failing to get a good shot of her hair.  I could have turned the flash on except then Faith becomes horrible and shiny with zombie eyes.  I prefer blurry and indistinct.

For the record, since my main goal was clean soft poodle and the chance to use my shears, I did not clip Faith this grooming session, which means her back feet are still uber fluffy because I never got around to it from our last session.  Also for the record, Faith's toenails need to be clipped pretty badly.  I'm a bad dog owner when it comes to toenails.  :(  I misplaced my nail clippers and I keep waiting for them to turn up.
