Caps advance to Round 2 of the Playoffs!!!
Had my sis take this pic of me jump hugging (glomp is it?) Moe mere seconds after the game clock hit zero. Misconstrue this as bro-mance if you want- I was totally hugging random dudes anyway (probably 'cause our table was near the bathrooms)!
But wow, the Caps completed an improbable comeback after trailing 2-0, and 3-1 in their series with the Rangers. I missed the ceremonial handshake at the end mainly because I myself ran to the bathroom. But did I really need to see that? A handshake with Rangers is just like a visit to the urinal. The only difference is I get to thoroughly wash my hands with soap and water, lol j/k. It was an interesting series.
Up next is the Pittsburgh Penguins. Caps know how to beat them as well, so this should be a great series. I just hope the Pens don't put up a whiny bitch-fest like the Rangers.
On a related note: The Playoff Beard (or whatever the hell my facial follicles are attempting to produce) lives to see another round! Although you can't see it well in the pic above, the beard is more or less at regulated length. By the end of Round 2, the nastiness should ensue.
