Merry almost everything!
No snow but that's ok. I am sure someone has more than enough for many of us.
Christmas time with the family is going pretty swimmingly. Much relaxing and napping (we re such a family of cats) aswell as hanging out with the second family. Just like old times and much wonderous fun.
So I didn't get to deliver Christmas cards to many people this year (which is always something I enjoy) so I thought here might be anice place to start :)
In no particular order!
Erica: What a star! You are blooming and the whole world is shining around you ( I'm sure you have burning ears because we always speak so well about you). I love your smile and your determination so never lose that spark. You have a big heart and you know I am always so greatful to be part of your life.
Anna: Strange things! You have changed so much in the past years but there are still some things I know about you. Your creativity and forward-ness is something we should all aspire towards; it makes for clarity, which we all need. You deserve the time of your life and s much learning as can be thrown your way! I look forward to all the amazing things in the future.
Domonique: You seem to be such an image of insight these days; I must see more of you. I'm so keen to see your pretty smile nad hear how things have changed in the times apart. I also want to meet this kitty of yours and am flabberghasted! This from the woman who doesn't enjoy cats but they enjoy you. Please have a content holiday.
Andrew: Very few things really need to be said but you ought to get your ass back safely. You have always been so very good to me and I really want to be the friend you are to me. It is such a crazy role to have and you take it with such grace; you consistantly floor me (yes, it is easy). Come home safe and see the fancy things you find!
Mike: I found marmite potato chips >.> You are a breath of fresh air and always an intellectual challenge. It is great to have creative discussions and I am so thankful to have had you gently pushing me into finding a better place. I know I am a handful and I thank you for your patience. Pasties in my freezer for you!
Dailyn: I hardly see your face anymore! You seem to be growing and developing into a crazy-smart individual! Please keep up the good work and keep in touch. I will find a way to see you at some point, after things are settled.
Lisa: I need to find you in more random places! You are doing just what suits you and have a clarity about you I haven't seen before. Kudos! I look forward so seeing you on my end of the world soon and will definitly force you to concert with me.
Swetha: We haven't spoken in a spell but there is no way I can forget you. I hope things are going smoother for you these days and the holiday is treating you well! Keep some wooly socks on hand and remember a hat on your pretty hair! I will see you in the new year :)
Chad: I speak with you very rarely these days but hope you are doing really well. You seem to be coming into your own nicely and I am so glad for it. I know you are never really afraid of anything but just know you have friends out this way.
Daniel: There is the possibility you still read this. Ever watchful and vigilant of this little rascal, you have always been one for kind but frank advice. Thank you so much for that, we both know I often need to be spoken to with painful honesty :) Not often but when need be. I hope you are very happy and that we will hang out soon.
Boots: Things seem to be ALWAYS on the move for you, you busy thing! When we do meet up it is always delightful and I hope to do so more in the new year. More beer, less burnt tongues.
Tarl: You are continuing to let your heart guide you and I am so proud of that. Keep your head above water and we both know everything will fall into place. It isn't always easy but nothing good ever is- right?
Bean: What a whirlwind! I wish you well in Calgary with the family and back here with your lady and life. Things are always on the move- we just have to know where to look right? I sound so insightful for someone who has never done a spa day :P Keep well and steal my aquarium soon! The cats keep lazin in it.
And a big thank you to everyone ontop of all that for being so supportive in this insane year. I know I might seem pretty different now but I still have the same squishy goodness. I wish you all the most delightful holiday and a fantastic new year! I will be back in town (Vancouver) either monday or tuesday and will be picking up work on Weds and Thurs. Friday has tentive plans and Saturday sees me off until the 10th. So please party safe, I won't be here to haul anyone to the hospital this year :) Keep well and much respect to all of you.
