We need to stop meeting like this, last twenty minutes of my shift.
So, i've been thinking. What to do with life as it is right now. College is done and my FD license is obtained. The only thing I have left from that is semi-crippling debt. I'm working on paying it off. But that doesn't seem like a good enough focus for life. I've decided that I should focus on living a healthier life, so I can enjoy it more.
Here's my plan. Be fitter, lose some weight. I've been trying to sort out a plan in my head so here it is.
Step One: Quit smoking.
Tried this once before, and cold turkey didn't work out so well. So this time, we're going to give the nicotine patches a try. Costs about the same per week as smoking does, and hey after eight weeks, no more cost right. So, quit smoking after this pack. 14 cigarettes to go. I plan to be on the patch by the latest Wednesday. If all goes well, I should be completely done by the end of November. Good luck me.
Step Two: Find a gym to join.
Hopefully I can find something that doesn't cost $500 a year to join. I wish I lived closer to legends. They have the yoga program I wanted, a track, a gym and a pool. Worth the drive? Maybe.
Step Three: Healthier eating/drinking.
Main goals here, cut out pop and juice and stick to water. ALL WATER ALL THE TIME!! Less fatty foods, especially cheese and salad dressings. Forgive Three Cheese Ranch... I shall miss you most of all.
Step Four: STICK TO IT!!!
Don't fall off the wagon. This is where I need my support! If anyone sees me falling off the wagon SAY SOMETHING. I'm going to need all the help I can get. Encouragement will be appreciated.
I'm going to update about this specifically every Sunday. Progress, thoughts and feeling. Here goes nothing.
Current Weight: 204lbs.
Goal: Healthy weight loss = 1 - 2lbs per week.
Realistic Hope: 20lbs of weight loss.
