I don't have any formal wear. I can't even remember the last time I wore a dress. Or even skirt. Not since I had that stupid singing waitress job when I was thirteen.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, I intend to attend the gala and announcement of peace terms.

I've my own suit, so there will be no need to hunt one down for me; I imagine finding one in my size would be a trial on short notice.

Hopefully they will permit me to keep my cane with me during the event.

I do not think they would, I am more concerned about their reaction to your, ah state. I would be careful...many Ivonians aren't particularly fond of demi-humans and I have a feeling such might be the case of some of the people we might run into.

I was planning on staying in the background as much as I can manage. When that is not possible, I shall be a perfect gentleman. Hopefully that will calm the less...accepting dignitaries.

I'll be frank - I suspect that this will all wind up going awry at some point. I'm attending so that, in the event something does go wrong, I can be of use (though, I'll admit that I am curious as to the settlement they have come up with). If nothing comes of it, and I spend an evening playing the wallflower, so much the better.

I do not blame you your suspicions, I'm certain many feel likewise. So I thank you for your concern and willingness to help and put yourself out there, Brook. It means a lot...though I suppose I can see why, a lot of our crew seems entirely too self-serving sometimes. I'll watch your back.

Thank you. If push comes to shove, though, do not worry about me, get yourself to safety first. Bullets or blade thrusts won't harm me as much as they would a normal person, I think.
