Everyone kept telling me about it but i'm a bit hard headed and try never to follow a crowd.

I bought the book read the first page, then couldn't put the damn thing down.

I've started the second book in the series "The Vampire Chronicles" by Anne Rice.
I love this author, I love this series, and most of all, from the thirty or so pages I've read, the way this book is sucking me in.
I can read a teen angst novel in a couple of hours, and I know I don't have the reading ability to read this like that.
