everything we do requires strategy...

...even the spontaneous things we do, because of course, someone has tot hink up the idea, right [as "spontaneous" as it may be]??

today was SonLife training.  omgosh...the whole seminar was from 8:oo a.m. to 5:oo p.m.  You`d think you would get bored during all that time, but...minus the breaks and all...well, actually it was still a long time, but...i didn`t get bored once.  I was so caught up in what Kent was talking about, because it was so...i can`t describe but...i`m really glad I went.  I took so many notes...but it`ll definitely help me in the long run.  the people from my church...Angela, Moke, Danny, Bee, Steamer, and Stephen really got to talk about what isn`t working or what we need to improve on in our church...and like, we have our work cut out for us, and a plan/strategy to solve the problems!!! That really made me happy.  Because...yeah...I haven`t been really happy with our youth group for awhile now...just because...we sometimes just seem to be there.  Doing...nothing, not growing any closer to God or anything...but now i have a good feeling that since most of the leadership has taken this training workshop, things will get better. I really need to take drum lessons from Steven, lol.  He`s like, amazing with drums!!! besides, Gayle knows how much I like drummers...LOL.  But yeah...the whole time, i was listening intently and writing down as much as i could, because I didn`t want to forget anything the speaker was saying.  I don`t know why i felt so compelled to go...but now I know that it was a calling, lol.  Anyways, I got to see my friends from other churches...yay!!! and I met a bunch of new people, too.  But i got to see Khomie, Martha, Nate, David, Pauline, Panza, and Robert...and I met Roselene, Khmao [is that how you spell it??], and...yeah, that`s it.  And hmm...we went to Super China Buffet...for lunch, and there was the best food.  I ate...haha, a lot.  and i had SUSHI !!!  i haven`t had any for a long time.  and I tried wasabi...cuz David made me...and it was...uggghhhhh.  maybe it just wasn`t made correctly...i dunno.  the bai cha was tasteless.  but the chicken nuggets made up for it. oh oh oh...i got a fortune cookie.  It reads, "Constant grinding can turn an iron rod into a needle."  no clue what that means.  i`m jealous.  David got a cooler fortune than me...i don`t remember it, but it was a good one.  anyways.  i better get going now. laters
