HOWDY NEW FRIENDS

Dec 14, 2010 22:32

All both of you, if my count is correct! /foreveralone Yes, so let's jump right into things.

Today wasn't special, but Tuesdays rarely are, we know this. The most eventful thing that happened was that I actually had work to do all day today. It resulted in my not becoming exhausted at twelve-thirty, and being rather AWAKE all day. Oooh, and now that it's finals week, there's no one coming into the office asking stupid questions, so I actually did get work done at the front... except for the papercraft. That was the backup fun thing, anyway: I'm actually surprised I didn't get to do it, with all the downtime I usually have.

Got home, ate, watched some hockey. Pittsburgh -- Shitsburgh, as Theresa wants me to call them, and I don't mind -- finally lost, but I really wish they would have waited another day to do it... kinda. I mean, they were playing Philly tonight, so. On the one hand, I hate them both. On the other hand, Pittsburgh lost! On the other other hand (?!), Philly won. On the other other other hand -- I think I've spilled over onto feet now -- the Rangers won't be the one to topple them tomorrow. Of course, I hope this is the beginning of a Pittsburgh losing streak, because that'd be lovely. Not that it'll help without the Rangers on a winning streak -- we're tied for fifth with Atlanta and Pittsburgh's in fourth, but there are seven points between us -- but we've finally got Drury back and, assuming he doesn't break his fucking finger again, we can only do better! Venus, shut up. There are still fifty games left, for the love of god. And two that I'm going to within the next month. YES!

I forgot to go to the store and buy new thongs. The floor is cold and the recent weather isn't helping. I probably won't remember to do it until this weekend, FFFFFF. I know I have real slippers somewhere but they're probably packed up in the attic and I don't even have a clue where to start looking; I'm not moving any more boxes until I absolutely have to.

That's about it, so have that year-end meme, and I'll be off to get some tea. ♪

A lot of my initial sentences play off my post titles, so that's why a lot of these make no sense out of context.

January 1, 2010: I hope everyone had a wonderful new year celebration.
February 2, 2010: [Pointless post because I'm late again.] Huh.
March 1, 2010: But, sadness, I don't know if we're going [to perform at Sakura Matsuri].
April 1, 2010: [I don't like April Fool's Day.] Just so you know.
May 1, 2010: [The fact that there will be a Smurfs movie], quite possibly, just made my morning!
June 1, 2010: [My England cosplay] is not done yet, but here's what I got so far:
July 1, 2010: I TOLD YOU [THE LAST AIRBENDER] WAS SHIT QUIT YOUR BITCHING
August 2, 2010: ichiP! will be at the Bayside branch of the Queensborough Public Library (it's like Northern and Bell, I forget the address, go Google it or something) this afternoon at 3 PM for a performance for TOKYOPOP.
September 6, 2010: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are always boring.
October 3, 2010: OCTOBER.
November 1, 2010: [At least I'm [posting].] But I really can't breathe and I'm probably gonna go to the hospital after the games are over because I'm now in physical pain, so.
December 1, 2010: I took a nap this afternoon/evening and I had a strange dream about someone (a famous dreamverse person but she reminded me of Angelina Jolie) taking an axe to her boyfriend's right limbs (he was also a dreamverse person.

This... isn't a very good cross-section of my year at all! Well, maybe the ichiP! stuff. There was a lot of ichiP! stuff.
