i'm aliiiiiive!
yes, it's true. i'm alive.
it's been a year since i updated my livejournal. why is that? because i'm bad at blogging, that's why. i always start these things, but end up having nothing to say. there have really only been three major things that have happened to me in the past year, so i guess i'll share those with the four people who might read this.
my brother came back from iraq. safe and unharmed, thankfully. he is still stationed in texas, and he gets out of the army later this year.
my papaw passed away. he was in the hospital for a week before he died, and i stayed there almost night and day. it was the worst and most exhausting thing i've ever had to go through. it was almost a relief when he passed away because everyone knew what was going to happen.. it was just a matter of time. he was the last grandparent i had, and until he was in the hospital, i never really realized how much he meant to me.
and on a much, MUCH better note.. cody and i finally moved to knoxville. we moved the first week of april, which happened to fall on one of the coldest days of the year. moving was exhausting, and it was the biggest pain in the ass. i don't want to move again for a looooong time. we live in sunflower apartments - apt 70. so come and see us!
