DAY 91, Mid-day

May 30, 2012 21:03

The walk back to the resident wing where her room, and Bert’s room, were located seemed to take an eternity. She was aware Bert was not happy - the look on his face as they left the infirmary was proof enough. It was also hard to miss how close he hovered. But she wasn’t going to confront him about it now. A pair of guards trailed after them, close ( Read more... )

She looked over to Gisela and said with a slight smile, "That is alright, whatever you feel is best, I do not want to intrude any more than I have already."

He wouldn't deny he was quite happy to move into Gisela's room. He had a bit of stuff to collect (more like, pick up off the floor) from his room to bring in, but it wouldn't really be that difficult. "I guess. Gotta give me a few to get my stuff." Despite his enthusiasm, his tone was pretty flat. He was still worried about the Giselas working together. If the new one got upset and something were to happen - he might have to break his rule about hitting a girl. At least when Jules died, he could beat the stuffing out of Conrad. It did make him feel a little better, at least ( ... )

"Sure." Gisela watched Bert go with a sigh. She was going to give him the cold shoulder if he kept up with that behavior. Or yell at him. Something was going to happen. It would have been more time effective if she and Gise could gather up some clothes and supplies for the other while Bert cleared out the room. But Bert would probably have something to say about that.

...And so what? He could say all he wanted about it. "Come on," she said, starting toward her door. "Let's get what you need."

She looked at her twin...her sister and smiled faintly. "Alright...and Thank You Ma Soeur."

Gisela marched back down to the hall to her own room, and paused outside the door. She was still upset with Bert and his attitude through this whole thing. If they were going to share the same space, they were going to have to get the bottom of that. She wasn’t looking forward to it. But she wasn’t going to let him stay with her if there was this ball of negative energy between them.

She pushed the door open, to see he had made himself comfortable already. The door shut with a bit of force. “We need to talk.”

Shit. those are the worst 4 words in any language. With everything going on, wash she about to dump him, even though she just had him move his stuff into the room? No, that couldn't be it. Though, he no doubt suspected it had to do with Gise.

He put the book down next to him and sat on the edge of the bed. He frowned a bit, knowing this wasn't going to be a sexy time event. "What I do?"

She frowned, crossing her arms. "What is your problem? You've been hovering over me, and ... and standoffish..." Given the circumstances, she wouldn't really blame him for being uncomfortable around Gise or Ken, but the matter had been settled, and he was still acting weird. "If you have a problem I would like to hear it."

"I don't like Gise. And I don't like thinking that you'll be spending a lot of time with her." His voice was clearly showing some of his anger and jealousy. "She killed guards for no good reason, right? So yeah, I'm gonna hover and make sure you don't randomly end up like them. Bipolar chicks are seriously bad news."

Gisela settled more comfortably under Bert, the leg not pinned under him bent and resting against him. She ran one hand through his hair while the other traveled down his broad back, occasionally kneading into muscle. Though his shirt was bothersome, so when she reached the bottom, she began to tug it up.

He hadn't expected her to be forward, but approved. He paused and pulled away enough for her to pull his shirt off before returning to his prior position. His hand that once rested now massaged gently, even though he opted to not quite strip her just yet. He didn't want to spoil the epilogue for himself and opted to take his time with the prologue.

He really could get used to this arrangement.

With the shirt out of the way, she moved her hands down his back again, massaging here, dragging her nails lightly there, slow and almost lazy. Every so often, she would drop a kiss on his shoulder or neck or jaw. She just enjoyed being close.

Bert lightly grunted her name as his lips ghosted back towards her ear, which he lightly used his lips to pull on the lobe. He moved his hand away from her body and brushed it along her cheek, lightly tilting her face to have her lips closer to his own.
