Shouri was headed for the kitchen. At least he had herd the maids say that's where Yuuri had gone.

He was surprised to find Yuuri in the hall with that really cute healer. There was hope for Yuu-chan yet,..right? He had no idea the Yuuri he saw wasn't his little brother.

"Ah,...good morning Yuu-chan!! I'm glad to see you talking to a girl for once." He smiled at Giesela.

"And shes adorable too. It's Giesela right?Good morning to you as well!!"

He was a little too cheery now.

Gisela frowned at the new voice for interrupting her reunion, but hastily bit back any scathing remarks and bowed deeply for the king's brother. "Lord Shouri! Hello! Um..."

She straightened, feeling a bit warm in the face for being called adorable. "Yes, Gisela is correct. It's good to see you, sir. Lady Ulrike will be coming to castle, and I believe she wishes to see you while she's here."

She smiled. There was one more chore out of the way!

"Oh,..right. I'd like to see her too, and work on maryoku training.Thanks for letting me know."

He waited a moment and grinned again. "Sooo,..Yuu-chan,..are you being nice to the lovely Giesela,..I am reallly happy you are showing interest in women. You're dressed kinda funny. I guess it's kind of odd to see you so bold and actually trying to talk to a girl and hold her hand and stuff. But it makes me so proud! I guess living here is a good influence on you after all! Maybe that smiley guy and that skidish adviser of yours is doing a good job after all!"

"I have to admit though,..I am kind of jealous you got her first. Shes super cute." He winked at Giesela playfully.

"I'm okay," he murmured to Gisela, and then resisted rolling his eyes at the interruption, before he realized who it was. "Shouri?!" It had been a long time since he had seen his brother, or even a double of his brother.

He frowned a little at the winking and shifted a little closer to Gisela. "Are you the one who was here awhile ago? Or are you from a different world? Or are you a different one from that last one that's supposed to be here?" All these worlds and people were getting confusing.

"Huh,..Yuu-chan. It's me your big brother. Of course I am not from here ,..were both from Japan!"

He raised an eyebrow. "Wait a minute,..how many Yuu-chans are there in the world?" He glanced at Giesela.

" I,..its weird. You look like Yuu-chan,....but my Yuu-chan is king here in this world. Wow,....two Yuu-chans. And both are so cuute! I may have died and gone to big brother heaven. How are you different from my Yuu-chan? Do you actually like girls? Oh,...wait a sec,..that's why your hanging round Giesela. You must be dating her. Did you get permission to do that Yuu-chan? Cause her dads kinda twitchy and its only proper behavior you know?"

"man this is weird. I wish my Yuu-chan would date a cute girl like you Giesela,..instead of that bratty prince. Too bad this adorable Yuuri has already claimed you or I would of tried courting you myself." He pat Yuuris head. "You're a lucky guy. Take care of her okay!"

Oh god, he was just as annoying!

He swatted away Shouri's hand, and a little unsure what to say about everything about Gisela, he just went with a "Shut. The Fuck. Up."

Shouri blinked at the smaller boy in shock.

"Yuu,....Yuuri,..thats not proper language around a lady! Didn't your Ofukuro teach you that? You are so not my Yuu-chan! You sound more like a brat to me. With a disrespectful mouth! I know our Ofukuro, whether shes mine or from a different world, would never allow you to grow up talking like that!"

Gisela slipped her arm through Yuuri's, worried that things were getting a little too heated. She didn't want any fighting. She smiled at Shouri and waved a dismissive hand, hoping to diffuse the situation.

"No, no. It's okay. I don't mind. I'm used to his language. But, um, thank for your... approval? And the compliments..."

She flushed a bit and glanced at Yuuri, not exactly willing to disclose the nature of their relationship. "He doesn't need my father's permission. He has mine, and that's really all that matters." Which was as polite as she could word that her father absolutely did not approve.

He looked at Giesela and studied her a moment. "Well I guess so. But I still don't think a guy should talk like that around a cute refined lady like you."

He glanced at Yuuri with a raised eyebrow. "Just try and be more respectful of her okay. That's all I am asking. I'm sure you're just as good a kid and as cute as my Yuu-chan deep down. You just had some bad experiences."

He smiled at both of them. "So,..um,..yeah,.I'll leave you two alone. I think my Yuu-chan is in the kitchen. I should go make sure he doesn't burn himself, and that our Ofukuro's cooking lessons are helping."

He pat Giesela's shoulder softly before moving back along his merry way.

What a shame. She really was cute. Too bad his not-brother was kind of a brat.

Gisela accepted Shouri's concern and words with a smile, and gave him a small bow as he started to walk away. "It was nice to see you. I'm sure we'll meet again."

When he was a distance away, she turned back to Yuuri with a small shrug. "He was...nice... Don't you think?"

He rolled his eyes at Shouri's departing figure. "He was annoying. I like my Shouri better." Usually his Shouri was just as annoying. But it had been a long time since he had last seen his real brother and he was maybe, just a litle, kind of missing him.

She rolled her eyes at his lack of humility, but it was true. As far as she was concerned anyway.

Her fingers skimmed over her arm, where a faint mouth-shaped scar was hidden under her sleeves. Another few sessions with the healers and it wouldn't even be visible, but her blemish was hardly a priority. "I'm okay. It's just been very busy. You weren't hurt, were you?"
