DAY 69, Morning
Gisela peeked into another room and shook her head. If she were a Great Sage, where would she be hiding? He wasn't in any of the places she thought he should be. Maybe she should have had a servant deliver Ulrike's list after all.
She had already spent too much time on this errand, and she still had too many patients to tend to - though the extra healers Ulrike sent from the temple were helping a great deal. And she needed to track down her father and perhaps Lord Shouri as well and let them know that Ulrike would be coming to visit. Nevermind that she still hadn't taken stock of the new herbs they had brought back from the temple and determined if they would be enough to treat the wounded. If not, more would have to be harvested from the wild, as their gardens were now depleted...
SIGH.
She stopped in the hall to rub at her forehead and see if there were any servants nearby to flag down and hand the list off to. Maybe they would have better luck.
