I'm getting a jump on this, but I can't wait until their set! I have a feeling they're going to be playing a lot of song from Spirit If... and their upcoming Brendan Canning album, but I'm really really hoping for a lot of song from their self-titled, specifically "7/4 (Shoreline)," "Windsurfering Nation," "Ibi Dreams of Pavement," "Super Connected," "Swimmers" and "Fire Eye'd Boy." I also really hope they close with "When it Begins" -- I'd imagine there's no other choice to play out the night than a huge Bonnaroo singalong! I have no idea what members are touring with them right now (it's a safe guarantee for Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning or course), but whoever it is it'll be a good show!
Screens soon to come....
EDIT:
Wow, a sound check? Shouldn't they have done this earlier, like before the day began?
A song of two later they listed the things that have gone wrong since the sound check. Like the sound check happening so late, the keys out of tune, bass out of tune, and amp not working. Later they mentioned their troubles getting through the US/Can border.
Because of the sound check, they decided to take their sweet ass time with their set. The Bonnaroo folks tried to kick them off the stage, but the fans wanted more and the band wanted more. And that's why you don't do sound checks right before a band plays.
"We're going to take a little Kanye West break while we find a new amp."
"...and we can't find an amp. 'Isn't it Ironic? Don't you think?'"
"Can I get a little more bongo there?" HA!
