So, today I got my car back into a whole condition. On Monday I called the auto wrecking yard where I ordered a new passenger window from. Turns out they have it, and no one bothered to call me. So I went and picked it up, then yesterday I went and installed it, with a little help from my Dad and his tools. I was still a pain in the ass, and the Chilton's manual was only so helpful with somethings. Like the vague description of where a certain omega shaped piece that hold the door window crank on. I couldn't find it before I got the door interior off, and only found it after I pulled the panel out anyways. At least it's not really noticeable that I tore it a bit. And then the manual doesn't even cover how to install or remove the window glass, so that was a somewhat troublesome experience. But like I said, it's in, and everything's back together and working. So now I just need to go and get another stereo.
Unfortunately I don't have any money, and even though I have a job again - I'm not going to have anything I can spend until the 7th of Sept. And I have bills I need to pay now or very soon. So I'm probably going to take out a small loan for school stuff, since I still need to pay some tuition, as well as books.
So right now I'm working as a Parking Lot Checker for Diamond parking. Which is a really simple and boring job for the most part. And I don't think I'll even be working that many hours which isn't too bad, but I do need to make enough to live on, and to still save up for things.
Came across an interesting album/bootleg earlier today too. It's called The Crates, and has the original songs that DJ Shadow has used in his songs from Endtroducing and Private Press, which is cool.
