... rest. I finally have a chance to rest for a bit.
After everything this past year was, with all the things I've had a chance to learn, with all the successes and failures I experienced, and with the loads of work & such most of this year involved --
-- all while being thankful for being able to experience it all, and all while remaining optimistic about the future ...
... it ... just feels good to be able to lie down and rest.
... for what I should, at least.
As soon as I feel rested, I'll be starting on some other things to which I've been meaning to get around -- working toward the next steps of the career I want, doing some personal projects, meeting up and doing things with more friends I've been meaning to see, working towards landing a few gigs on the side, and the like.
[ And maybe I'll see if I can finally get around to learning a bit more on proper snowboarding, what with all these crazy amounts of snow we've been getting. ]
I know this past year has been varied for all of you. For some of you, it's been wonderful. For others, it hasn't been the best to you.
Whatever your lot, may the new year for you be better than the last. May you be granted the best of outcomes for your endeavors (or steps thereof), and may you be given the best of everything this coming year of your life can offer.
Though, to reach those ends, I'm finding that it's best not to try to go at it alone. That's something I'm still needing to work on -- not being afraid to ask for help from family or friends when appropriate. And, if there's any way I might be able to help any of you out, don't be afraid to ask.
... for right now, though... for now, I rest.
A happy new year to you all, folks.
