[ With Christmas holidays over, the "basketball team"-slash-teenage resistance crew has an "after school practice" behind closed doors in the gym.I know some of you probably got a "what I did over Christmas break" as an essay in English, but I want to hear the real deal. Who got hurt, who got droned, who's got something extra to fight with, and who ( Read more... )

[[Someone reluctantly comes to the meeting. Kinda hanging back and looking around as if expecting something bad.

Hesitantly he asks.]]

"Did anyone get a letter, supposedly from me over the holiday?"

"Oh, that's good. I get to explain first.

The town is trying to turn everyone against me, they took my letter to Santa and changed it."

It seems like something bad happened to almost everyone I talked to. That's really no surprise, though.

I talked to the Postman a few times, too. Seems he was just annoyed with me for not trusting him. I don't see how he thinks I could ever do such a thing.

What do you think of him as an ally?

I don't trust him at all. Not only because of the Christmas gifts. But he showed up here one day out of nowhere, along with the post office. He tricked people into trading in their internal organs and memories for their possessions from home. While he obviously has a lot of power, and is against Lucy Smith, I highly doubt we can trust him. If he wanted us to trust him, he never would have pulled what he did.

[While calm, he sounds pretty heated about this - way more riled up that Crowe ever usually is.]

From what I've been hearing, a lot of people got hurt. But I did get this back, which is something, I guess.

( and at that he holds up a large gold coin. which really isn't impressive at all. )

I decided to test the limits of the town's capabilities. They were unable to provide me with a loaf of music. I was also sent to Westport for a day. The air was toxic.

Yes. They managed to provide a bottle of emotion though.

Um... Well, I'm not sure why but.. .all of the drones looked like they were screaming, and in pain or crying.

...But it looks like I'm the only one who saw this. They're all back to normal now, I think, but... For those couple of days, it was terrifying.

... so did you talk to any of them afterward about what happened to them?
