By this time next week I will be home.
By this time next week I will have completed my sophomore year of college.
And all with the possibility that I will not be back in Baltimore until mid-January 2008.
(Over eight months!)
I am anticipating and anxious and excited.
I want to go to the Netherlands so badly.
I get an ache in my sternum thinking about what may happen.
It's an unsettling yet excited ache.
I do not have words right now. I'm overwhelmed and underwhelmed.
I'm ready for summer working.
I hope that Home Depot will hire me.
I want to work with "regular" people, and be able to tell customers what aisle things are in.
I can walk down aisles of doorknobs and paint chips and ceiling fans and faucets.
And I can wear an orange apron.
