stench of failure...
last night saw the worst soccer game i've ever been involved in. We leave at 8:30 to the game. Right before it, it starts drizzling, so we are all pumped up thinking, yeah this is gonna be awesome. Then it starts to downpour about 2 minutes into the game. Wind picks up and actually knocks a goal over. It's so fucking cold. People are slipping, missing kicks, the ball doesn't bouce because the field is all mud. My arms are so cold that I can't even close my fingers all the way. Then they start to burn. We lost, 6-4, which kinda sucks because we definatly could have beaten them. Then we all have to go back to Davidson from the field literally dripping wet. Someone tried to hug me to warm me up, but it just pushed the icy cold into me. we get back around 10:20. Figures that today is a beautiful day for soccer. but is' cool.
