I borrowed a book from a friend called Unconditional Parenting. I'll be writing some thoughts about it here as I digest it.
My first thought that I'm able to somewhat articulate is that if only people who aren't "wimps" ("parenting isn't for wimps") have children, the numbers humanity will soon dwindle to a point to please even the most fervent believers of the dangers of overpopulation.
Non-wimps are able to overcome the obstacles of societies', relatives', and friends', expectations, their own faulty conditioned reflexes of parenting (or how the were parented), and accept that no part of child-raising includes "merely" making the parent's life easier.
Clearly, I am a wimp.
