Come all ye faithful
Well another Sunday coming to an end. Another Monday waiting around the corner..
For the past two weeks I've been going to church.
After the whole break up and break down I totally re-evalutaed myself, I looked back at what and who I was in the relationship, and also just how I was in my everyday life, and saw lots of thngs I wanted to change.
Going back to church was one of them..anyways, since I had Esmond this morning I took him along, I emphasized the importance of being quiet, and behaving in church, and to my surprise he was really really good. I mean he's a good kid in general but he just doesn't shut up! Seriously, his mouth runs a mile a minute, so I was mainly concerned he'd talk or say something really loud.. Like that time Will and I took him to see Fantastic Four in the theatres, and on the most quiet part of the movie, Esmond says "I love you mommy". lol, but he kind of yells when he talks and pretty much the whole theater heard him. anyways I was able to keep him well behaved which was more then I could say for some other parents there. Man o man I was like wtf? This is church! Control your fuckin child!!! Then I felt guilty for getting angry and annoyed in God's house, so I silently reprimanded myself.
ooo then this one girl!! Last week this broad comes in like 15 minutes late and sits RIGHT next to me, which is like whatever but I kept feeling her staring at me in my periphrials, then right while the priest is doing his homily (it's a catholic church), her phone starts ringing. And no, I don't mean a simple "ring ring" soft tone, but not only was it on high, but it's some gay ass Avril Lavinge song that sounds like some kind of high school cheer. This shit starts blarring right in the middle of church and right next to me!! I hoped no one thought it was me. Anyways didn't think much of it, but the exact same thing, with the exact same girl happened today!!!! HELLO!!!!!??? ARE YOU STUPID?! Didn't you learn your lesson last week?! Apparently some poeple are just fucking stupid and/or inconsiderate asssholes.
I'm going to mass at USD next Sunday, it's a few more blocks away from my house, but it'll be worth it, cause the rich white conservatives go there. I am sure there will be no child outbursts or cell phone incidents.
The one part though that I know will be forever embedded in mind from today was, the part where everyone stands, holds hands and says the "Our Father" prayer together. I was holding Esmonds hand, but he was at the end of the row so there was nobody on his other side to hold onto. So he grabs his little ninja turtle (Michealangelo), puts the ninja turtle in standing position, with arms out, and holds on to the ninja turle's hand. It was the cutest thing!
